Some people go out of their way to witness Snake Road in Illinois during the peak migration times. I'm not one of those people, but many are. A new video share shows what that roadway in Illinois is like during peak snake migration and it's not for the faint of heart.

Many people go to the infamous Snake Road in Illinois this time of year on purpose. I'm gonna take a hard pass, but that wasn't a problem for a recent explorer who shared up-close video of the very venomous Cottonmouth snake.

Snake Road in Southern Illinois is widely known for being a safe space for snakes, but the sheer amount of snakes one guy captures on video in a day is incredible to me, watch it here.

Apparently Illinois has a road that closes down multiple times during the year to allow "Thousands of Snakes" to cross it....It's called Snake Road.
