Computer models are a funny thing. They rely on a many variables and even if just one changes, the forecast is probably invalid. That being said, there are many models and some forecasters that do believe that snow is possible in Missouri next week.

While forecasters are not calling for winter weather nearly as severe as we've experienced twice already this month, a portion of the area is under an advisory to be on the lookout for some hazardous weather.

It's getting here a little later than originally forecast, but it is getting here.

It looks like another blast of wintry weather is headed for northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

It looks like the month of February will be coming in like a lion. The National Weather Service has posted Winter Storm Watches for all of Northeast Missouri and Western Illinois from Tuesday evening through late Thursday.

The weather watches issued Thursday for northeast Missouri and western Illinois have been upgraded to warnings and advisories for New Year's Day.
