This is me giving the entire town of Palmyra a big ole pat on the back. They were just named one of the best Missouri small towns to live in for 2024 by the internet.

Normally laugh when I see the latest and greatest best-of list, but in this case I will celebrate it because it comes from the people and not some random blogger who likely has never been to wherever he/she is writing about. A Palmyra BBQ joint was just named a top 5 BBQ place in the state of Missouri by a sites readers.

There are soooo many events in the Tri-State area in the month of April, here is a breakdown of some of the biggest (and can't miss) ones!

We have been fortunate to not have many strong tornadoes do much damage in northeast Missouri the past few years. However, there is quite a history of twisters that have devasted the area including 3 that occurred in the 1940's that went through Hannibal and Palmyra.

The Hannibal Free Clinic's 2022 Ribfest and Wings is back in Palmyra, and you won't want to miss your chance to try all the wings and mouthwatering ribs you can. And the best part is that it supports a great local organization!

We are nearing the loudest event held in the tri-state area every year and I mean that as a compliment. It's the Palmyra Young Farmer's Super Pull at the Marion County Fairgrounds and I've found some vintage moments from the past to get you ready for this year's event.
