Meramec River

There are a ton of great places to hike in Missouri so to say that one is the best above all of them is high praise indeed. But, there does seem to be a general consensus that there is one hike in the Show Me State that rises above the rest and it has stunning views of the Meramec River.

It's not polite to throw rocks at people. That's what one Missouri Bigfoot needs to learn since a fisherman claims that's exactly what the beast just did near the Meramec River.

It's quite a claim to say you've had an encounter with Bigfoot. It's yet another to say that it's happened more than a dozen times. That's the story of one Missouri man who says he's encountered one of these creatures at least 15 times in his lifetime near the Meramec River.

It's been awhile since I've shared a good Missouri Bigfoot tale, but this definitely qualifies. I have found video from a couple of guys who believe they found a Sasquatch fort near the Meramec River in Missouri.
