Explosions

It sadly happens more often than you think. A Missouri home exploded with no warning Friday and authorities report that two bodies have been found during a rescuer search.

A Missouri fire department was responding to a fire Friday night only to learn that blaze now involved an explosion. Once they arrived, they learned a Missouri home had exploded and as of now, no one knows exactly why or who might have been in the building.

Authorities are working to contain what appears to be a huge explosion and resulting fire at a chemical plant today in LaSalle, Illinois. New video shows the initial fire and smoke cloud after the blast.

The week began tragic for a neighborhood in Missouri where it's believed a faulty water heater may have caused a house to explode injuring 9 and killing 1.

You never want to see a vehicle on fire as you're driving down the interstate. Even more precarious when it's a car carrier aflame with multiple vehicles burning, too. One driver shared video of what happened when he drove by a scene like this only to have a tire explode and nearly take him out also.

Thanks to doorbell cameras, we now see moments captured we wouldn't see otherwise. That was the case for a security camera in St. Louis yesterday that witnessed the moment a St. Louis home exploded and damaged multiple homes.
