Quincy Federation officials say a January 17 strike date is set.

No agreement was reached on a contract with Quincy Public Schools following a lengthy meeting that ended early this morning.  The Federation represents over 800 teachers and staff members in the school district. School Board President Sayeed Ali says the district and union representatives came to terms on all language matters but money issues could not be resolved. Ali says a meeting is not currently scheduled to discuss compensation.
