A Georgia man goes to the hospital after the semi he was riding in rolls on Highway 61, two miles north of Palmyra just after 1 p.m. Saturday.

Missouri Troopers say the southbound semi was totaled when the driver, Abdullah Abdi of Tuscon, Arizona lost control, crossed the median and traveled into the northbound lanes. The semi then ran thru a guard rail and down an embankment before overturning and coming to rest on its side.

A passenger, 55-year-old Kenneth Head of Moultrie, Ga. suffered minor injuries and went to Blessing Hospital in Quincy by ambulance.
