No matter whether you believe in Bigfoot or not, the biggest question is why they're so hard to find if they're real. A new video explores the possibility that the Sasquatch may be hiding in a Missouri cave system bordering the Meramec River.

The YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory recently interviewed a guy named Patrick who claims he was harassed for an entire night while hunting from his deer blind. As you might imagine, not everyone believed his story was accurate. However, along with telling Patrick's story, they did some investigating the nearby woods near where he said he was harassed and found some interesting geography which might explain why this creature is so hard to catch up to. It's a cave system they estimate might even be connected to the larger caves in southern Missouri.

They found huge spaces like this one showing that a large creature could potentially use this as a shelter and/or central location for hunting of its own.

Fallen trees in this formation are what many believe to be "Bigfoot forts" as there's no explanation why such large trees would end up in this position.

When you present a wild story like Patrick has, you take the chance that people will laugh at you and think you're crazy. It's worth noting that Patrick isn't the only one that has reported Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Mo-Mo sightings in this part of Missouri. So, perhaps there's a possibility we need to consider that Missouri's caves may be a prime hiding spot from one of nature's most elusive creatures.
