After a beautiful weekend, the week ahead is forecast to be a little more seasonal in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters say Monday will feature clouds and a high of 35. The high jumps to the low 40s Tuesday and Wednesday with sunshine. The hiccup for the week comes Thursday, when a high of just 21 is predicted. Temps bounce back to the mid-30s Friday, the mid-20s Saturday and low-30s Sunday.

Lows for the week hover around 20 Monday, rise to the low-30s Tuesday, and settle into the teens Wednesday through Saturday.

As of Monday morning, there is no precipitation in the week's forecast.
