Salvation Army Gets Box Fan Donations

With another hot summer weekend ahead in the area, the Salvation Army gets a timely donation Wednesday.

Salvation Army officials report the receipt of 25 box fans from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

The Salvation Army is in the midst of a fan distribution program for area families in need.

Those in need of a fan or would like to donate fans can do so at the Family Services Centers in Hannibal or Quincy.

Monetary donations for the purchase of fans can be sent to the Salvation Army in Quincy.
