Quincy Police Investigate Two Vehicle Thefts

Quincy Police are investigating two vehicle thefts.

Quincy Police say Adams County deputies located a green 2002 Chevy Impala on the railroad tracks just off the roadway on Bonasinga Drive shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday. A 1989 Pontiac Grand Am was found in the bay at All America Park. Both vehicles sustained major damage and had to be towed.

Police say the Chevy was taken from the 2500 block of Dennis Drive. The Pontiac was stolen from the 13-hundred block of Chestnut. Quincy Police say the Chevy was also involved in a hit and run crash in the 600 block of Cedar and is suspected of damaging several trash cans in an alley between 5th and 6th on Spruce.
