Quincy Man Goes to Jail on Firearms Charge

A traffic stop in downtown Quincy results in multiple charges for a Quincy man. 

The arrest took place around 1:15 a.m. Saturday. Quincy Police pulled over a car near 3^rd and Vermont and discovered the female driver showed an active warrant.

A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the arrest of a passenger, 21-year-old Thomas C. Payne. Payne faces charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Unlawful Possession of  Ammunition, and Obstructing Identification.

Payne was lodged in the Adams County Jail.
