Quincy Couple Charged in U.S. Capitol Riot

A Quincy couple faces federal charges in connection with the storming of the U.S. Capitol January 6th.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced Thursday the arrest of Jason and Christina Gerding, accusing the couple of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and violent entry and disorderly conduct on capitol grounds.

An FBI investigation revealed Twitter posts made by Jason Gerding on January 6th, saying the couple had made it inside the U.S. Capitol.

There was also a photo posted on social media of the Gerdings, claiming they had made it inside the Capitol.
