A local Tri-State pumpkin patch is set to open soon! Here are the details you need to know...

Say goodbye to warm weather, sunflowers, sunshine, and sweating, and start saying hello to cool breezes, sweaters, fall leaves, and pumpkin everything! No this isn't pumpkin spice realated it's actually about pumpkins, a local pumpkin patch is set to open in West Quincy.

Autumn Harvest Farms located in West Quincy, Missouri posted on their Facebook page that they are opening up their Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, September 19th. They say that they will open at 10 am, and are located at 8570 US 24 next to the Shell station in West Quincy, MO. On their Facebook page they talk about what you can expect from this years pumpkin patch saying...

"We will have a large selection of pumpkins, gourds, and mums available as well as a large offering of Fall decor in our retail tent!...Our “Play Pen” will be open as well! This includes: straw bale maze, pumpkin bowling, corn box, trike track, giant spider ring toss, bag toss games, bounce house, and much more!"

They go on to say that masks will be encouraged but not required to visit the pumpkin patch, and will make more announcements on their Facebook page in the coming days. Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and hay rides were the absolute best thing to do as a kid, so it's great to see that these activities will still be offered locally in some capacity even during the COVID-19 pandemic we are all living through.
