A LaBelle man is arrested on Lewis County meth related charges early Tuesday morning.

Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish reports deputies responded to a report of illegal narcotics in the presence of a child at a residence in LaBelle early Tuesday morning.

An investigation revealed a substance later identified as methamphetamine in the residence.

45 year old Steven Clay of LaBelle was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs.

Clay is in the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 cash only bond.
