
Rockford Man Wanted for His Involvement in Fatal Armed Robbery
A man from Rockford who was allegedly involved in a fatal armed robbery last month (June) is now being sought by the Winnebago County Sheriff and the Rockford Police Department.

It was on Wednesday, June 26 that Rockford PD responded to the 1000 block of Haskell Avenue for a report of "shots fired."
According to the Rockford Police press release, officers were en route to Haskell Ave, when they were advised of a shooting victim who was lying outside in the grass.
When officers arrived, they located 29-year-old Marquell Reddic on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased
While investigating, Rockford Police learned about another individual who was part of the incident.

He is 23-year-old Tyree Anderson of Rockford who is now charged with the following after the case was reviewed by the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Office:
- Armed Robbery (2 counts)
At the time this article was published, Tyree Anderson was not yet in custody and a warrant for his arrest has been issued by the Rockford Police Department.
