Da Bears are on the clock and the expectation is they will take USC QB Caleb Williams number 1 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. So what should we expect from Caleb during his rookie season with the Chicago Bears? Here is my prediction...

If you'd rather watch and listen to me explain my prediction just check out the YouTube video below...

I will do my best to write out a prediction here...

Wins: Andrew Luck won 11 games as a rookie, Trevor Lawrence won 3... Well, the Bears won 7 games last year and that was with their QB Justin Fields missing 4 games. So my expectation for Caleb Williams is to win between 9 and 11 games.

Passing Yards: Kyler Murray threw for 3,722 yards as a rookie, Lawrence threw for 3,641, and neither of them had DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, and newly acquired Keenan Allen. My expectation for Williams is to hit the 3,500 mark, anything less than that in 17 games would be a disappointment.

Touchdowns: As a rookie Luck threw 23 TDs, Lawrence 12 TDs, and Murray 20 TDs, all of them ran for multiple TDs as rookies as well. My expectation for Caleb is 25 passing and at least 3 rushing, the rushing TDs are important, and having a QB that can keep the defense honest with his legs in the modern NFL is crucial.

Final Thoughts: I say this in the video, he doesn't have to be better than CJ Stroud was last year (that would be awesome if he was!) just prove to me that you are the obviously better choice than Justin Fields, and be better than the other rookie QBs. If Caleb can show he is the clear best QB in his class and put up better numbers than Fields did (while staying healthy unlike Fields), then I will be a happy fan.
