Hy-Vee Recalls 4 Products Due to Salmonella Contamination Risk
It's time to check your pantry and fridge and Hy-Vee has issued a voluntary recall on four products due to a potential salmonella risk.
Hy-Vee sent out a press release announcing the recall of 4 different products due to what they say is the potential contamination with salmonella. These products were available in Missouri and Illinois along with 6 other states. Here are the affected products with their labels:

- 0075450486740 Hy-Vee To Go Cookies & Cream Mix – 4 oz. 12/5/2024 24073
- 0075450486740 Hy-Vee To Go Cookies & Cream Mix – 4 oz. 12/1/2024 24101
- 0075450486740 Hy-Vee To Go Cookies & Cream Mix – 4 oz. 12/5/2024 24117
- 0075450486730 Hy-Vee Cookies & Cream Mix – 16 oz. 12/5/2024 24073

All of these products were available at Hy-Vee, Hy-Vee Drugstore and Dollar Fresh Market locations.
If you find that you have the recalled products, you are advised to dispose of them or return them to Hy-Vee for a full refund. This is all being done out of extreme precaution and there are no known sicknesses that are known to have directly resulted as a result of these products.
As Mayo Clinic mentions, Salmonella is an organism that normally does not cause severe health problems, but certainly can in compromised individuals such as the elderly, the very young and/or those with weakened immune systems.
