High school is supposed to be the final foundation stone of a good education. A new ranking declares that there are 10 high schools in Illinois that aren't achieving that. Based on their data, here are the 10 worst high schools in the state of Illinois.

First, a bit of a disclaimer. I'm always suspicious of raw data. When I look at lists like the one just shared by School Digger, I wonder if some of these schools have different testing methods that aren't measured by their methodology? My point is that if you are really considering where you or your children should go to high school, check out the full data they've shared or even better, just do your own research.

Some takeaways other than my suspicion about possible different testing methods? First of all, these schools showed single digit testing score averages which (if accurate) is catastrophic. Second, many are in the Chicago area.
