If you're not familiar, the United States has a fleet of E-4B Nighthawk planes that are a worst-case scenario type of airborne command in the event that the country is attacked for a continuation of government. It's not really that unusual for one of these planes to be in the air, but I have noted that there was no activity for the past 4 months...until this morning.

The flight path can be followed on Flight Aware for code name "TITAN25". This is the path it took early Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

It took off from Andrews Air Force Base around 6:43am and landed near Dillon, Montana about an hour and a half later. That means as you were maybe going to work this morning, the Doomsday Plane was over your head. Fun.

The fact that the Doomsday Plane flew over Illinois and Iowa is not really a big deal (we hope) today as the military often moves it to different locations for obvious reasons. It's the fact that this is the first activity in 4 months that makes it interesting.

Now back to your regular daily routine with the peace of mind that the US military has your back.
