Wild Video Shows Twister Crossing River from Missouri to Illinois
In what has been a crazy year for weather already for Missouri and Illinois, another wild moment has just happened. A tornado that began in Missouri crossed the Mississippi River into Illinois and the moment was captured on video.
Donna Clark Russell on shared a video on Facebook of what she saw during a tornado-warned storm that happened Wednesday morning. It's the twister making its way across the Mississippi River.
Donna mentioned that she had heard a home had been damaged by this morning's twister, but that's the only damage report we've heard so far. However, more severe storms could still develop in Missouri and Illinois before the day is done. This is just one of dozens of tornadoes that have made their way across both Missouri and Illinois in what has been an explosive few months of weather and it's not over yet.
Thanks to Donna for being kind enough to share her video with everyone today.
