The ‘Doomsday Plane’ Secretly Flew Over the Missouri Bootheel
If you blink, you'll miss it. It's one of the United States military's most secretive planes and it flies with little warning. The 'Doomsday Plane' secretly flew over the Missouri bootheel recently and I can prove it.
When I say "Doomsday Plane", I'm talking about the Boeing E-4 Nightwatch. It is an advanced airborne command post that was built to make sure there would be a continuation of government in the United States in the event of a worst-case scenario involving a catastrophic natural disaster or war.
Remarkably, the location of the United States military's "Doomsday Plane" is sometimes public knowledge. It will occasionally appear on Flight Aware which is what happened recently when it's flight path took it directly over the bootheel of Missouri.
If you zoom into the Flight Aware map, you can see that it passed over the southern tip/boot of Missouri.
Here's the interesting part. It took off from somewhere near the coastal islands just off the coast of southern California in the ocean. What the?
Let's be clear that we see the Doomsday Plane fly over Missouri somewhat frequently as it travels from its home base in Nebraska to Andrews Air Force Base on the east coast. It is not typical to see such a strange route like the one just witnessed from an unknown place in the Pacific Ocean. Doesn't mean that the end of the world is upon us (yet), but it is an interesting twist in a year that's already been plenty strange.
