Inside the Glass Mansion on Table Rock Lake Just Sold

One of the most famous properties in Missouri has a new owner. The spectacular mansion featuring glass on every side has been sold and you can see what it's like inside this special Missouri place and what plans are for its future.

I just saw HCW share the news that their "CEO Rick Huffman has acquired Evergreen, the historic 32,000-square-foot lakefront estate built by renowned local businessman and philanthropist Robert Plaster."

You might recall that a year and a half ago I shared a video from Terri Crisler who is a realtor in Branson, Missouri as she was given a tour of this stunning glass mansion.

The full press release from HCW includes a look into what the future might hold for Evergreen.

“The house comes first,” said Huffman. “We want to restore Evergreen with the care and attention it deserves. Plans for the surrounding property are still being finalized, and we look forward to sharing more details in the coming months.”

The statement went on to say that they plan to "develop portions of the surrounding acreage into a mixed-use destination include a luxury condominium residence, restaurant, spa, and additional amenities". Since many believed that this glass mansion overlooking Table Rock Lake was abandoned for years, it will be interesting what kind of public access and amenities they create in the years to come. It's an exciting development for a special place in Missouri.
