If you had exotic monkeys on the loose in St. Louis on your 2026 bingo card, you win. That's the exact situation that is happening right now and officials are desperately trying to locate and trap them.

I saw this interesting share by KMOV in St. Louis about 4 monkeys that are apparently on the loose. According to their report, animal control officers believe the monkeys are in the Redbud Avenue area of St. Louis. I believe this is the road that's located southwest of O'Fallon Park.

At this time, the animal control officials are warning the public to not approach the monkeys if they spot them as they are exotic animals that have unpredictable behavior. It's not legal for anyone in St. Louis to have an exotic monkey as a pet, so let's hope they haven't escaped from a lab somewhere. Perhaps I've seen too many movies involving monkeys escaping from labs.

As this is a developing story, it will be updated once the monkeys have been located and we learn what this primate event in the big city is all about. Oh, and now there's a rogue goat on the run in St. Louis, too, because of course there is.
