There’s a New Richest City in Missouri for 2025 and It’s Loaded

It's hard to write something like this and not sound envious, but I really am not. There is a new richest city in Missouri for 2025 and it's loaded with wealth in virtually every nook and cranny.

So if you were going to guess which Missouri city ended up on the top of the richest list, you'd probably guess Huntleigh, right? Nope, not that one. Town & Country in the St. Louis area is always a favorite, but it's not #1 (although it did make the top 10 list).

What is the new #1 richest city in Missouri?

Congratulations to Ladue, the new champion of Missouri richness. Homesnacks just a few days ago placed them as the wealthiest Missouri place for 2025.

Here are some observations from a not-rich person (spoiler alert: it's me). I've driven through Ladue several times in my lifetime. There was even one girl I went to school with who was from there. Most of the mansions and signs of luxury are hidden behind trees in Ladue. You really wouldn't know driving through it that it's full of millionaires. It would appear to me (the poor non-expert) that Ladue is where you live when you need to be in the St. Louis area, but also want privacy and seclusion. That's a hard combination to find in the big city.

I would love to have had a paper route in Ladue back in the day. I bet the holiday tips were amazing. Now, I'm happy for those that can afford the lifestyle that area provides. No, I'm not envious of Ladue residents. If you've worked hard enough in your life to have the pennies to call Ladue home, good for you.
