‘It Wasn’t a Deer ’: Missouri Veteran’s Strange Road Encounter

When it comes to strange reports, the credibility of the eyewitness is key. That's why I believe the story one Missouri man just shared needs to be heard and seriously considered. He's a military veteran who says something huge came out of the woods and blocked the road in front of him and he says "it wasn't a deer".

Mysteries Unknown on YouTube just shared the fascinating story of a Missouri veteran

The man's name is Brian Williams who says he grew up on a farm in northern Missouri then became a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne right out of high school. He did several Army tours of duty and then returned to farming. He's an avid outdoorsman who understands the different creatures in the woods. He says he's also a full-blooded Native American as is his wife. He was driving his wife to work early in the morning around 3:30am near Plattsburg, Missouri off of highway 116 in the Fall of 2018. Here's what he said happened:

Brian Williams - "We were driving down a gravel road and something came out of the corn field...my first thought...it's a deer...I hit my brakes...when it came out, it wasn't a deer...it was on two legs...it was graceful and almost kind of took my breath away..."

His wife saw the creature, too. He stopped and took several minutes trying to figure out what he was looking at. He said the hands on the beast were huge. He was close enough to see the knuckles which looked really rough.

The creature eventually left the roadway into the ditch and ran off into the heavy timber by the roadway. I highly recommend listening to Brian tell his story. I believe he's sincere in what he claims to have witnessed. It's another fascinating encounter in Missouri between a man and an unknown beast.
