Missouri Man Heard Something Following Him Then a Tree Fell

I would argue there are few things that are creepier than having that feeling that you're being followed when you're walking in the woods. A Missouri man had that feeling recently and then heard a thunderous tree fall behind him on the trail.

I saw this chilling story shared today in a YouTube short from Missouri YouTube channel Sasquatch Theory. It's the testimony of a man named Rick who was walking on a trail along the Black River near Markham Springs in Missouri. His experience began when he heard a huge rock hit the water behind him. He and his friend decided to run back to their camp and that's when it happened.

Rick: "We get back to the camp...we just sat down in front of the fire and we're trying to figure out what's going on...this is really weird...we've never experienced anything like this...the next thing you know a tree falls..."

Rick and his friend were convinced that a creature was following them and was what heaved a rock in their direction that hit the water before they got back to camp. That begs the question what type of creature is strong enough to knock down a tree by itself.
