This could have ended so much worse. The Missouri State Highway Patrol have shared photos of a bullet-riddled squad car that was fired upon over the weekend during a pursuit.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol shared this stunning update on their Facebook page today detailing what happened over the weekend that resulted in their squad car being littered with bullet holes.

According to their press release, the Missouri State Highway Patrol were trying to stop a gray car just south of Missouri 152 and Pleasant Valley Road around 10:27pm Saturday night, November 16, 2025. The vehicle did not stop and the officer reported that the fleeing suspect was firing at him from the passenger side window. The vehicle was eventually stopped and three suspects were taken into custody immediately while a fourth was found hiding in a storm drain. Fortunately, no bystanders or officers were hit by gunfire from this exchange that also involved several Kansas City area police agencies.
