Russian Quake Predictor: Missouri in Real Danger

This is chilling. Just 4 days ago, an earthquake expert correctly predicted that Russia would suffer from a massive earthquake and he even predicted the location. If you live in Missouri, you should pay attention to what he has to say as he's also predicted that Missouri is in real danger of experiencing a devastating quake.

Before I share what he had to say about Missouri, this is what the YouTube channel Earthly shared on July 26, 2025. Note that this time stamp is accurate. He correctly predicted a nearly 9 magnitude quake off the coast of Russia. This prediction came true on July 29, 2025.

What does this uncanny prediction about the eventual 8.8 magnitude Russian earthquake have to do with Missouri?

I did some digging and found that just 2 months ago, he also made a prediction that the small quakes in Missouri along the New Madrid Seismic Zone leading up to a mega-quake.

Is it possible that this guy just got lucky predicting the Russian quake 3 days before it happened? Sure. Do I think he's right about the New Madrid Fault? I have no idea, but there's good reason to think that Missouri is overdue for a major earthquake.

Let's be clear that there is no recognized way to accurately predict earthquakes. The USGS has always been very open with me when I've asked questions about mini-swarms of quakes and potential imminent major quakes. I have no doubt they would love to be able to warn the public weeks ahead of time of catastrophic quakes. If they knew of a way, I have no doubt they'd share it. However, I will say that the guy on Earthly accurately predicting the Russian mega-quake and resulting tsunami makes me pay attention to what he said recently about the New Madrid Fault. No, I am NOT saying this validates an imminent Missouri quake, but it's a reminder that we should always have an emergency plan knowing how we would react in the event of a major shaker. The fact is that a major New Madrid quake is a question of when and not if.
