If weather patterns continue to change the way many meteorologists are predicting, Missouri should brace itself for terrible twisters once Spring begins in 2024.

According to the National Weather Service, Missouri has been benefiting this winter from a Super El Niño which has brought milder than usual temperatures to the Show Me State and much of the Midwest. It appears there is a shift underway to what forecasters call a La Niña and it's appears to be happening rapidly.

Ryan Hall who is one of YouTube's most popular weather guys has just shared his prediction for what this change will mean for Missouri and it would be a good idea to brace yourself. He sees the atmospheric conditions bringing volatile storms with Missouri especially being in the crosshairs.

His official tornado forecast for activity in spring of 2024 shows more tornadoes for Missouri and especially dangerous conditions for eastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri.

Ryan mentioned the super tornado outbreak between May 22 and May 26, 2016 as an example of a previous year where similar conditions existed. That 4-day period saw 98 twisters drop in the Midwest causing millions of dollars in damage. If that's truly a model for what Missouri and the Midwest can expect from spring/summer of 2024, look out. This is going to be one heck of a ride (no end scene red truck 'Twister' pun intended)
