Meteorologist Warns Missouri Could See Strong October Tornadoes

One nice thing about Fall arriving in Missouri is we're finally out of tornado season, right? Wrong. As a matter of fact, one internet meteorologist is warning that Missouri could see strong tornadoes in October and maybe even November based on current weather patterns.

If you're not familiar with Ryan Hall, Y'all, you should be. He's one of the most popular meteorologists on YouTube. The name of his channel can probably be attributed to the fact that Ryan is based out of Kentucky. But, he recently had his sights set on Missouri looking ahead to the rest of October and into November as he warned we are heading into a sort of secondary tornado season.

Ryan said that the cold air coming from the North which has caused our cool off for this coming weekend is expected to clash with another front of really warm air in the middle of October.

That could lead to a very active and stormy time in October.

How many tornadoes does Missouri normally have in October?

History has proven that Ryan's theory is correct. You might remember that on October 24, 2021, there were 7 confirmed tornadoes including an EF-2 that struck Purdin, Missouri and caused a damage path of over 30 miles. This proves that tornadoes are not just a potential Spring catastrophe. They strike Missouri during the Fall months, too.
