Missouri’s Best Tacos Found Far from KC and St. Louis

It's about time the underdogs got a win. For once, a national food site has found the best food in Missouri that is NOT in St. Louis or Kansas City. No, they say for the best hole-in-the-wall taco joint, you need to venture far away from Missouri's biggest cities.

Hooray to you, Cheapism. When you put together your brand new best hole-in-the-wall taco restaurants in each state, you looked beyond the obvious choices. If only Guy Fieri would do the same. They went completely off-the-beaten path and declared the Missouri place that creates this as the best in the state.

This creation comes from Pablito’s Taqueria in Osage Beach. Their review praises their "corn tortillas cradling juicy carne asada, tender cheek meat, and smoky chorizo, topped simply with fresh cilantro, diced onions, and a squeeze of lime". Excuse me while I grab a bib. A couple years ago, a realtor in the Lake of the Ozarks region did a nice feature on this Osage Beach taco place.

It's been awhile since my family has adventured in the Lake of the Ozarks part of Missouri. However, I will put this place on my short list of food options as tacos are one of the few food groups that nearly all of my family agrees on. Well done again to this new national ranking looking beyond St. Louis and Kansas City for food options finally.
