If you're a truck driver, you know that you face the dangers of the road. But, you also know that when and where you stop can be vital to your health also. That's why a new list showing truck stops across America that drivers say are 'too dangerous' is a must-read and 3 of those stops are indeed in Illinois.

This compelling read shared recently on Reddit shows truck stops that drivers are advised to avoid by a security company called L Brands Asset Protection. I have verified on Indeed that they are the real deal and really do provide security for many of these trucking companies that are affected by theft and damage.

Pilot Travel Center - 699 IL-203, East St Louis, Illinois

Flying J Travel Center - 140 Racehorse Dr, Alorton, Illinois

Road Ranger - 3401 S California Ave, Chicago, Illinois

The list shared on Reddit claim that these 3 Illinois stops have had reports of either danger to drivers, their loads or both. I don't recall ever stopping at any of these Illinois truck stops, but have enough truck drivers that are in my circle of family and friends that feel it's important this information gets shared so all drivers can make informed decisions about where and when they stop.
