How to help people beat poverty is a challenge nearly every community battles. There is one place in Missouri that has come up with an inspiring answer. It's a new village of tiny homes and it's helping those who are struggling find dignity and opportunity in one of Missouri's most famous places.

I came upon a very interesting video shared on Facebook by Elevate Community in Branson, Missouri. They speak of tiny homes that offer big hope.

From what I've learned, Elevate Branson was created by a couple that recognized the tourism industry that has made that part of Missouri thrive often doesn't offer big wages. Bryan and Amy Stallings had a vision of a community of tiny homes that would be available to those who otherwise would not have a good home.

Companies and individuals in the Branson area have come forward and sponsored homes at a cost of $45,000 which allows someone who does not have the means to have a home to have a nice place to live that's close to the tourist areas of Branson where they also have transportation available. They even allow them to be a part of their marketplace where they can sell their creations.

It seems that the Elevate Community has already made a difference in the Branson, Missouri area which is why they were named the non-profit of the year just a few years ago.

Is this the future of how Missouri communities can defeat poverty and give hope to the hopeless? Many in Branson will tell you yes and I agree with them that this is at least a very inspiring option.
