You have probably heard that many waterways in southern Missouri have flooded their banks. Now, you can see how a dramatic flash flood transformed a Missouri creek after heavy rainfall.

I saw this new video just shared on the Missouri sub-Reddit of what has happened in the Big Creek area. They described it as "Video of Big Creek flooding in Annapolis. Water is flowing very fast and turbulent, and the low water bridge is making rapids."

For reference, this is what that creek near Annapolis, Missouri looks like on a normal day.

This video shows that same area, but under crazy flood waters.

The good news for the Annapolis area is the forecast for the next few days is dry, but it does look like there is more heavy rain headed to that part of Missouri next weekend according to Accuweather.

I've heard it said that a picture is worth a thousand words. That must make this just-shared video worth ten thousand showing how fast a Missouri creek can get overrun after a big rain.
