Don’t Mess with This Dangerous Bird in Missouri You’ll Regret It
Birds are beautiful, and some are exotic and fun to spot and listen to. There is one bird, however, you downright do not want to mess with.
The Black Vulture can be seen throughout the entire state of Missouri. Mostly, they stay to themselves, but they have been known to not only get after livestock but also attach the roofs of cars and trucks. Yeah, I was surprised about that one myself.
These birds are harmful to farm animals and even have been known to attack cars by eating the roof.
According to AZ Animals,
Kelly Smith from the Missouri Farm Breau recalled seeing a group of these creatures attacking a car. “On the hood and on the roof,” he recalled, “and eating the plastic and rubber moldings around the windows.”
These birds have been know to attack domestic small animals such as small dogs and cats. When my Max was super small I would watch him when I let him outside I was so scared a vulture or owl would've scooped that up. When I see these flying around I always think something around here has died, that's the only time you see a bunch of them flying together.
Other Dangerous Birds in Missouri
I had no idea that there were so many different types of dangerous birds in Missouri. Be on the lookout for the Great Blue Herons and the Great Horned Owl. Why are all these birds called great?
These might be beautiful animals (okay maybe not the vultures) but looks are deceiving.
