Boo at the Zoo Brings Spooky Family Fun Back to St. Louis

Boo at the Zoo is a not-so-scary, family-friendly celebration where you can enjoy fall food favorites, plenty of photo opportunities, and even see a few animals along the way.

This year’s event runs from October 16 through October 30 at the St. Louis Zoo. Guests will need to purchase tickets in advance. From 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., families can stroll through festive Halloween decorations, enjoy live entertainment, and indulge in delicious food and drinks.

My family and I have attended several times, and no matter your age, it’s a magical experience. Walking past the giant glowing pumpkin, exploring the hay maze, and taking in all the lights and sounds of the season is something truly special. Boo at the Zoo is an event the entire family will love.

Tips Before You Go

Just keep in mind, you won’t have access to the entire zoo, only the sections opened for guests by the staff. It can get a little crowded, and you might have to wait for that perfect picture, but it’s still a fun night out with the family that’s well worth it.
