Illinois is home to one of the Best Easter Egg Hunts in the US
Do you want an Easter Egg Hunt that is bigger and better than what your small-town park district or church is offering? If you do then you need to check out the Spring Egg-Stravaganza in Illinois which was named one of the Best Easter Egg Hunts in the US.
The Spring Egg-Stravaganza at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago made the list of the 13 Best Egg hunts in the US according to countryliving.com. What about the Spring Egg-Stravaganza makes it so special? On the site they say...
"Lions and tigers and eggs, oh my! If you live in the Chicago area, head on over to Lincoln Park Zoo for a day filled with multiple egg hunts, crafts, and photo ops with the Easter bunny. Parents, you won't mind hopping over to this event: There will be a cash bar selling bloody marys and mimosas!"
If you go to the Lincoln Park Zoo's website you can find more information on the event. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, April 8th, and runs from 8 am until noon. They say on their website to expect to meet the Easter Bunny, get free rides on the carousel and train, chat with Zoo experts, egg hunt, and of course, see all the animals! I use to live near the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago and would go to a lot of their ticketed adult events like Brews in the Zoo, and I have to say they always do a terrific job with their events. What are your plans for Easter 2023?
