Have You Missed Your Chance at a Missouri Gas Tax Rebate?
Missouri Senate Bill 262 provides for Missouri drivers to file for a gas tax rebate, but time is running short.
You have until the Monday September 30th deadline (next Monday) to submit the rebate form for the gas tax to the Mo. Taxation Division. The 4923-H form will need to be filled out to claim the rebate.
Do you still have your gas receipts from between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024? Those are what are needed for submission this year.
Starting in 2021 the state of Missouri started increasing gas taxes incrementally at a rate of 2.5 percent annually, continuing until 2025, culminating at a total increase of 12.5 cents per gallon to help cover the costs of road and bridge maintenance across the Show-Me state.
Should this news be new to you please know that you can begin the process of saving your receipts moving forward until the end of June 2025 then submit the 4923-H form for the current annual time window.
