Haunted Missouri Hotel Where the Ghosts Grab Guests?
I lived in a haunted house for seven years. How haunted? Physical contact haunted, which sounds extreme but it really wasn’t. The physical contact was purposeful. The ghost in the house I lived in wouldn’t let me oversleep. Without fail, every weekday (and sometimes on the weekend) both me and my wife would be gently awoken into the day. A little tap on the palm of the hand. A caress on the arm or even stomach to bring you from slumber. I only got shoved once and I probably didn’t respond to the aforementioned taps and caresses. Shove did wake me up though. Wasn’t late to work.

Would you pay for a chance to have a spirit break the ethereal plane and touch you? I ask because there is a place in Liberty, Missouri called the Belvoir Winery and Inn that is known to be haunted because the main building was an old Oddfellows orphanage that became a nursing home and then a hospital was built on the land with some 600 people buried in the cemetery on the property.
A guest once, without knowing about the paranormal history of the Inn had their leg grabbed under the sheets in bed in the middle of the night. They were understandably freaked out, but not enough to leave before morning. The front desk was informed upon checkout, but the guest had taken it in stride and thought perhaps a return visit was in order.
Are you paranormally inclined or just curious? How curious? The Belvoir Winery and Inn awaits in Liberty, Missouri.
