After 30 years in Chicago, the widely popular Blue Man Group is ending its residency in Chicago.

Known for their high-energy shows, no speaking, and blues hands and faces THe Blue Man Group is as famous as they come when it comes to shows. With residencies in Vegas, Boston, Berlin, and Chicago, men from all over come to see this group perform.

However, soon there will only be one place to go, it was announced that the Chigaro residency will be ending soon. The last show will take place on January 5 and tickets are on sale now.

30-Years of the Blue Man Group

What started out as three friends on the street playing music has turned into a multi-city show. Opening in Chicago in 1997, the Blue Man Group has called the Astor Places Threeatre home for nearly 30 years. But as they say, all good things must come to an end.

The group is not going anywhere anytime soon. The plan is to open a state-of-the-art theatre to continue the Blue Man Group production in Orlando, Florida which is set to open in April 2025.
