The park system that we have here in Quincy is such an incredible resource, and it is something that we don't want to fall apart. So if you are someone who loves to get out and enjoy the amazing parks here in Quincy, then think about signing up to volunteer to help clean up the parks as well!

There are a coupe groups that have teamed up to create a Facebook event called "Gardner Park Nature Trail Volunteer Day" a chance for you to help clean up the incredible Gardner Park Nature Trail. In the description on the Facebook event page they say...

"Do you enjoy the Gardner Park Nature Trails? Do you want to help build and maintain our beautiful trail system? Here is your chance! From picking up trash to shaping dirt we need your help!! Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated! If it is raining we will postpone or cancel. Thank you!"

The clean up day is Sunday, October 25th from 11 am until 3 pm, to learn more check out the Facebook event page for the Gardner Park Nature Trail Volunteer Day by clicking here!

I truly think one of the best things that the Gem City has to offer its citizens and visitors is the amazing park system, from South Park to Washington Park and everything in between we should feel lucky to have these spaces and want to keep them clean!
