Heat Gun Causes Quincy House Fire Sunday
Quincy firefighters responded to a house fire at 1701 State at 4:16 p.m. Sunday.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the home.
Officials say the homeowner was scraping paint off the wood trim of the home using an electric heat gun. The gun apparently got too hot and started the fire.
