In a statement issued Wednesday night, Andy Dorian said that, while crews have been out plowing every day and have put down 250 tons of treatment material on the streets, the bitter cold prevents the treatment from taking full effect.

Dorian said, until we can get some sun or warmer temperatures, streets crews will continue dealing with these conditions.
