Hannibal Schools Locked Down Briefly Thursday

The Hannibal High School and Middle School were locked down briefly Thursday as the result of an incident at nearby Wal-Mart.

Hannibal Police report that, while an officer was taking information on a trespassing report at Wal-Mart, store personnel advised there was possibly an armed subject in the store.

The Resource Officer at the school heard the radio traffic and placed the schools on lockdown as a precaution.
