The new concert venue in the Missouri Ozarks was supposed to be a dream come true. For many that tried to attend the Garth Brooks concerts at Thunder Ridge over the past few days, it's been the opposite. Crowds and traffic reportedly caused many to miss the shows entirely.

To be clear, not everyone that attended the much-anticipated Garth Brooks shows at the new Thunder Ridge in the Missouri Ozarks feels this way. But, the number of fans who either arrived very late or could not make it at all has resulted in an online furor. The outcry has been loud enough that there is now a Garth Brooks Thunder Ridge Feedback Group formed on Facebook.

What's the big uproar about? Whitney Wilson was one of the fans who voiced her anger on Facebook.

KOLR 10 and Ozarks First reached out to Thunder Ridge to find out exactly what went wrong with so many being upset about getting in and out of the concert.

Perhaps these are just growing pains as the planners understand the logistical problems of what can and can't happen when you open a new location like this. No doubt it's a gorgeous venue in a beautiful part of Missouri. The report from KOLR 10 and Ozarks First mentioned that a third party concert organizer may have been responsible for the event.

I checked the official Garth Brooks Facebook page and there's no mention of what happened at Thunder Ridge there. I'll update this story if there's an official statement from the Thunder Ridge event organizers.
