The deadline is fast approaching for free school supplies for Marion County elementary school students. Applications will be accepted until Friday, July 24.

Clarity Healthcare, F.A.C.T., Salvation Army, and Marion County NECAC are sponsoring basic back-to-school supplies. You can apply at any of those offices in Hannibal or submit a form to backtoschool@pfh.org.

In the past, the partnership has hosted a back-to-school fair to distribute the school supplies.  In light of new safety guidelines, the supplies will be collected, sorted, and waiting in your child's elementary classroom on the first day of school. How's that for service?! If you have children in middle school or high school in need of basic school supplies, they should visit the school counselor's office.

The supply kits will include things like crayons, glue, pencils, paper, scissors, art box and a bookbag if requested. Applications received after July 24 will be considered if any supplies are left over.
