A former Lewis County man that had been sought by local authorities is in custody in southeast Missouri.

Earlier this month, Lewis County Sheriff David Parrish asked for information on the whereabouts of 40 year old Jeffery Bruhl, formerly of Ewing.

Word was received Tuesday that Bruhl had been caught by United States Marshals in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Bruhl is in the Cape Girardeau County Jail on $12,500 bond pending his extradition to Lewis County.

The charges Bruhl faces include receiving stolen property, violation of an order of protection, harassment, driving without a license and non-support.
