Fire Damages House and Car Port in Palmyra

An out of control trash fire late Tuesday morning damages a car port and house in Palmyra. No injuries are reported but the house is a total loss. Palmyra firefighters were called to 4596 County Road 252 at 10:54 a-m. A family of five lived in the house. The Red Cross will be assisting. Firefighters from Monroe City also assisted along with Marion County EMS and Marion County Sheriff’s deputies.
