After a snowy and cold weekend, the last week of February is expected to be a cold and perhaps snowy one in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

According to the National Weather Service, a Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the area until 9 a.m. Monday. Otherwise, highs of 14 and lows of 6 are expected Monday.

There will be a bit of a bounce-back Tuesday, with sunshine and a high of 37. After a high of 29 Wednesday, highs will drop into the deep-freeze once again, with highs of 20 Thursday and Friday. Highs for the weekend should get to 28 Saturday and 39 Sunday.

Lows will be in the teens Tuesday and Wednesday, back to the single digits Thursday and Friday, and bouncing back to the mid-20s Saturday.

Chances of snow are in the forecast from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning, then again Saturday and Saturday night. A chance of rain and snow is in the forecast Sunday.
